In what format do you need the content? Text in a word document is best, and photographs in JPEG however any format is OK as we can change this easily. Logos and Graphics are nomally best as GIF files so that the quality is not effected by enlargement. Photos do not have to be high quality as the resolution required on the web is low compared to photographs. However do remember the phrase "Garbage in garbage out". We are not miracle workers and if the quality of your content is very low then this will ruin the appearance of your website.
